This downloadable guide includes two weeks worth of games, activities and guidance to help you encourage any child from the age of 5  and up to read. It includes:

  • a video presentation where Daisy and Liz explain clearly how the guide works and how to play the 2 weeks worth of games in multiple ways with working examples.
  • A PDF version of the presentation with clickable links, so that you can access all of the games and activities from the presentation at any time.
  • Printables and templates for some of the games (a printer is NOT necessary in order to play the games - we include options for all)
  • Information about how reading is taught at school through the curriculum and ways you can easily support your child with this crucial skill at home.

This guide has been specially designed by an experienced teacher and teaching assistant who are both also busy parents. Daisy and Liz understand how tricky it can be when your child is reluctant to read and the school is asking you to do so at home. This supportive guide carefully walks you through a step by step process to turn reading at home from a dreaded chore into a quick and fun activity that takes just minutes and everyone enjoys.

It includes options for all kinds of learners - from wiggly children who don't want to sit down to read, to those who are struggling with confidence or have special educational needs or challenges. There are games and activities for all to bring back a love of books. It also includes explanations and advice on reading comprehension, fluency, levels, VIPERS and what to do if your child just simply refuses to read.

As always with a 2 Weeks 2 learn guide, the set ups for activities are quick and simple, and use stuff you will most likely already have in your home. Are you looking for easy ways to turn your reluctant reader into a book worm? If yes, then hit download now!

      Absolutely amazing!!!

      This guide is absolutely amazing.

My 6 yo loves Maths and listening to stories but is very reluctant to read his school book.

Since using the guide we have laughed and he asked "what game are we playing today?"

He particularly loves the fist bump activity and we now do it after most of his books (that we read for pleasure).

His teacher has also said that it has massively improved his reading comprehension as well! So a massive win!

Plus my 13 year old and 19 month old want to play too
